LOCK’s primary focus is on offering quality education and building a thriving local community through in-person events. We throw a wide variety of educational, community-building, and fun events each month!
Classes
Since our inception in 2020, LOCK has brought out international presenters including Lee Harrington, the House of O, Nookie Notes, Dan and dawn, Ebibex and DWL, Carmen Monoxide, and many others.
We hold classes on a range of kink topics including rope, impact, fire play, electro play, primal play, knife and sharps play, D/s, and relationship skills including polyamory. Our classes are for beginners and experienced kinksters alike, from Consent 101 to advanced intensives.
We often hold several classes in a day to offer the most value to our attendees, or even hold weekend-long events that involve five or six classes over the course of two days. Our classes are often (but not always) followed by a play party in the evening.
MONTHLY EVENTS
Socials
For anyone shy about coming to their first event, Socials can be a great choice! LOCK’s Social takes place in a private room in a public restaurant. There is no play at a Social and everyone is in vanilla dress. It’s a chance to socialize, eat, and drink in a public place. Meet new people and make new friends.
Rope Shares
Our rope shares are relaxed, weeknight events where vetted community members can practice their rope skills in an exploratory environment that is focused on learning. Experienced rope tops in the community take turns teaching ties at this monthly event. All skill levels from total beginner to experienced are welcome. We practice everything from single columns to suspensions. After we’re done tying, we order pizza and wings.
Movie Nights
What’s better than a cuddle pile and a ton of popcorn? LOCK hangs a projector in our private space and invites vetted community members to come on out and watch movies together. The community picks the movies, which may be any genre. It’s a double feature. There are plenty of snacks, tons of laughter, and often cuddles.
Open Dungeon Nights
Open Dungeon Nights are monthly play parties that are not tied to any classes or other events. Play, socialize, and have fun your way!
Special Events
In addition to these monthly events, LOCK throws additional events on special occasions throughout the year. Each summer, we throw a members-only barbeque to celebrate the members who make up the core of our thriving community. Our recent Wrestling FUNdraiser was so much fun, it’ll surely become a yearly event! There’s always more around the corner for LOCK and LOCK’s community!
Play Parties
LOCK has an 1800 sq ft space with a fully-equipped dungeon including three St Andrew’s crosses, two spanking benches, three suspension rigs and additional suspension points, a Spankmeister spanking bench, several massage tables, and additional equipment such as a CBT chair and stockade.
Our play parties are busy and full of laughter. There is never any pressure to play. Our space has a conversational area where people eat, relax, and socialize, and a dungeon space where play goes all night long.
Our parties are often themed, and when they are, people go all out with costumes. Our holiday parties are always a special treat as we try to go above and beyond to make our celebrations fun and memorable. Previous Halloween parties have featured costume contests and Haunted Walks, Christmas involves a white elephant gift exchange, and our upcoming New Year’s Eve party will be a sleepover!
